Assembling the gables

	Page 8 of the assembly instructions details how to assemble the gables. You will need the following: - 2 x corner post no. 14 - 1 x wall post no. 11 - 1 x wall post no. 21 - 2 x gable bar no. 15 - 1 x base sill no. 10 - 1 x base sill no. 20 - 2 x eaves gusset plates no. 18 - 2 x top gusset plate no. 17 - 2 x plastic fitting no. 86 - 9 x nuts and bolts no. 79 and 78 - 2 x polycarbonate sheets K (left and right) - 2 x plastic strip no. 40

Position all of the parts on the floor ready to fix them together.	Each of the polycarbonate sheets is covered with a protective film to indicate which side faces outwards. It is important that you mount them the correct way round as only one side is UV-protected. Remove the protective film.

Attach the plastic strip no. 40 to the bottom of the K polycarbonate sheet. Slide the short side of the plastic strip onto the polycarbonate sheet and twist the long side over the polycarbonate sheet.	This is how to attach the plastic strip to the polycarbonate sheet.

It is important that the plastic profile is correctly fitted to the polycarbonate sheet.	Slide two bolts part no. 78 onto the corner post no. 14 and gable bar no. 15.

Slide one leg of the plastic fitting no. 86 into the corner post no. 14.	Push the other leg of the plastic fitting no. 86 into the gable bar no. 15.

Join the corner post no. 14 to the gable bar no. 15 around the plastic fitting no. 86 to get the correct angle for the roof.	The corners are held together by the eaves gusset plate no. 18 and four bolts no. 78.

Tighten the nuts no. 79 and bolts no. 78. We recommend you to use the Juliana Box spanner as it is the correct size for the nuts. Don´t tighten too fast or it could break.	Make sure that the corner post no. 14 and the gable bar no. 15 sit tightly around the plastic fitting no. 86.

Now push the polycarbonate sheet K into the frame with the plastic strip no. 40 attached. It is important to ensure that the polycarbonate sheet is pushed firmly into the channels in the frame otherwise you will have problems inserting the other profiles.	Now insert two bolts no. 78 into the wall post no. 11/21 and one bolt no. 78 into the gable bar no. 15.

Push the wall post no. 11/21 against the polycarbonate sheet K and the gable bar no. 15.	Join the wall post no. 11/21 and gable bar no. 15 together using the top gusset plate no. 17. Please note that the angle of the top of the gusset plate is not the same as the roof angle.

Fasten the top gusset no. 17 with the nuts no. 79.	Push one bolt no. 78 into the wall post 11/21 and through the bottom of the corner post no. 14.

Attach the base sill 10/20 to the bottom of the wall post no. 11/21 and corner post no. 14.	Fasten the base sill 10/20 with nuts no. 79.

Repeat the same process for both gables. The gables are now finished.
